Easter break is next Friday, April 3 and the following Monday, April 6. There will be no school either of those days.

A HUGE shoutout to **Mrs. Engle’s 3rd grade class** for taking 1st place in Week 1 of our **statewide March Madness Reading Contest**, put on by **Amira Learning**! 👏🔥
That’s right—this isn’t just in-house competition. Our students are going head-to-head with schools **across the entire state**, and Mrs. Engle’s class came out on top!
Amira Learning is an AI-powered reading program that listens to students read out loud and provides immediate feedback and coaching. It adjusts to each student’s level, helping build fluency, confidence, and comprehension—like having a one-on-one reading tutor available every day. And the results speak for themselves.
Mrs. Engle’s class showed what happens when effort, consistency, and a little competitive fire come together. They didn’t just show up—they set the standard.
To our students: you earned this—be proud and keep pushing!
To Mrs. Engle: outstanding leadership and expectations in the classroom—this is how growth happens.
Week 1 goes to Cannon Ball Elementary… now let’s see who’s ready for Week 2! 👀

We had a fantastic time celebrating the joy of reading with our students, families, and staff at Family Reading Night on March 3! It was great to see our community come together to learn about the importance of reading and share in the fun.
Families enjoyed a presentation on how reading supports student success, followed by engaging activities like Book Title Charades and Book Bingo. We loved seeing students and families laughing, learning, and celebrating books together. The evening wrapped up with everyone sharing a delicious meal and great conversation.
A huge thank you to all who joined us and helped make the night a success. Your support and participation help build a strong culture of reading in our schools and community. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn, read, and grow together. ❤️📖
