Congratulations to our December student of the month winners! (Not pictured: Christian DuBray). We also held our drawing for 3 random winners of our attendance incentive. The three students received a giftcard. Our next incentive is for students turning in missing work. Students don't forget this is the first month you can earn your name in our drawing if you have perfect attendance for a pair of Jordans at the end of the year!

Annyeonghaseyo (hello)! 👋 7th Grade kids tried out Korea's well-loved ramyeon noodles and spicy kimchi. Yum! This activity was part of their lesson in Asian geography with a glimpse of Asian food and culture. Kamsahamnida (thank you) 9th Grade for assisting in preparing the food! You rock! 🤘

🌊🚢 Sailing Into Problem-Solving! 🚢🌊 Today, students took on the challenge of designing and building aluminum foil boats! 🛠️✨ After carefully crafting their vessels, we set them afloat and tested their strength by adding pennies as weight. 💰💪 It was amazing to watch them brainstorm, collaborate, and adapt their designs as they worked to keep their boats afloat for as long as possible. 🧠⚓ Who knew so much STEM learning could happen with a few sheets of paper, some water, and a whole lot of creativity? 💡📐 #STEMInAction #HandsOnLearning #FutureEngineers #ProblemSolversInTheMaking #TeacherLife
