An update on Pumpkin Jack in Kindergarten: It's been about 7 months since we carved him and put him in the container to watch. By December he had lots of mold and was starting to get squishy. Now, coming back to school today on May 12, we finally see sprouts! :)

SOLUTION DRIVEN 🚙💡
Solen students are doing a great job in presenting to some legislators few of the most pressing issues in the Native American community!
A plus! Ramas and Houston had a nice chat with Representative Julie Fedorchak.
Solen is proud of you guys! 👏

Great games today for our 4th, 5th & 6th grade volleyball players vs. White Shield! Proud of our girls for their effort and teamwork all season long. Big shoutout to Coach Heather, Coach Lanie, and the Solen staff who helped with officiating, transportation, and concessions—thanks for a great year! And thank you to White Shield for coming out!

Mrs. Ferguson's class read 2 books this Fall about the life cycle of a butterfly. Today, the students began their very own live action life cycle of butterflies. They received more than 30 caterpillars and will watch them grow and change into butterflies! Keep an eye out for more posts as the caterpillars go through the changes!

ATTENTION NIGHT LIGHTS PARENTS/GUARDIANS,
On Monday, May 5, the Girl Scouts will host a program for girls enrolled in Night Lights on Mondays and Thursdays. The girls who typically attend on Thursdays will join the session on Monday, May 5. Meanwhile, the boys who usually participate on Mondays will switch to Thursday, May 8, but this change is only for the week of May 5-9.
So, on Monday, May 5, only 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade girls will attend. On Thursday, May 8, only 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade boys will be present.
A note went home today (4/30). Please check with your NL student.
If you do not want your child to switch days to participate, please contact the school at 701-854-3341. A note went home on Wednesday, April 30 with a list of students.
Thank you,
Ms. Roberts
Night Lights Coordinator
