November is Native American Heritage Month. This month was established to honor and recognize Native Americans as the first people of this nation and to celebrate both their cultural heritage and integral importance to our past, our present, and our future.
Staff are spending the afternoon with Dr. Tami DeCouteau focusing on trauma informed care and education.
Thank you for your support and helping our students to maintain good attendance. We will continue to recognize and celebrate those who demonstrate a commitment to their education. This letter was sent home with all high school students today that highlight the importance of regular attendance and incentives throughout the month of November. A reminder that trimesters tests are November 14th and 15th. Students are exempt with an A or else a passing grade and less than 3 absences during the trimester.

Due to the water shut off, there will be not be school for elementary only tomorrow, November 1. Grades 6-12 will have school and dismiss at 11:45.

Don't forget! Tomorrow is the last day to buy a ticket for our Senior raffle and the Boo Basket! Tickets are $1.00 and can be turned in at the front office.
The drawing will take place after our costume contest. A reminder no masks are allowed during class and absolutely no weapons. Costumes need to be school appropriate.

Today, Dickinson State University Teacher Education students visited Cannon Ball Elementary to observe and teach lessons, gaining hands-on experience. We’re thrilled to support the next generation of educators!

There will not be Night Lights on Thursday October 31st due to the Trunk or Treat taking place in our school parking lot. There will also be no Night Lights on November 4th due to our Waterford Family night event taking place at the school. We hope to see you all out at these activities.
There will be NO NIGHT LIGHTS on Monday, November 4th. There is a Waterford Family Engagement event we hope to see you at!
