Ms. DeCouteau's Kindergarten class read the book Pumpkin Jack after our Pumpkin Patch field trip this year. The story is about a boy who watches his jack-o-lantern named Pumpkin Jack rot and come back in the spring as seedlings and grow new pumpkins.
The class is going to watch the life cycle of a pumpkin through out the year. Here's our 1 month update. He's growing lots of mold!

We had a wonderful time sharing a delicious meal, learning about Filipino culture through fun games and activities, and winning exciting door prizes. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
