Junior high and high school staff had a great site visit at Turtle Mountain Middle School today. Thank you for the opportunity to observe classrooms, discuss curriculum and interventions, and share strategies with administration. We're excited to bring back new ideas to support our students!

9th grade students spent a few hours at the University of Mary today with Mrs. Vollmers and Mrs. Willis, learning about careers in healthcare available in to them.

It was great to see a big home crowd at the Jr High Boys Basketball game! Great job today players. They picked up a 49 to 15 win. Keep practicing and playing hard. Our Girls team travels to Eagle Butte tomorrow. Go Sioux!

Another surprise for our students! Dennis Zotigh met with our students at the National Museum of the American Indian. While also at the museum, our students met with students/teachers from Maryland who want to zoom call with our students to discuss culture and the history of Standing Rock!
Lanie and Xiomara decided to try the Frybread at the National Museum of the American Indian. The verdict is 50/50. We are excited to be headed home tomorrow. Thank you again for everyone that supported this trip! See you soon!
We can't say thank you enough to Senator Hoeven and his staff who gave Xiomara and Lanie almost 1 hour of time to listen to our students. Our students got a chance to voice the issues facing youth on Standing Rock!

Xiomara is enjoying the Jefferson Building at the Library of Congress! Weather is still very cold and windy. We will be headed to the Supreme Court next!

Solen JH Boys' Basketball away game for Tuesday, January 21st has been cancelled against Standing Rock.
Reminder that there is no school Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Also, there is no school for Cannon Ball Elementary School on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Grades 6-12 will have school on Wednesday.
