Thank you to everyone who joined us for a wonderful Back to School open house tonight! It was heartwarming to see so many of our students, families, and staff come together. We loved seeing everyone connect, enjoy a meal, and learn about the resources available through our Title I program. We are so grateful for our incredible community and can't wait to see what we accomplish together this school year!

Today was the first day back for our teachers and staff. We kicked off the day with Travis Jordan speaking to our staff with his "Connection over Conformity" presentation, Indian tacos for lunch from our wonderful kitchen staff, Title I professional development with our Title Coordinator and high school principal , laws, policy, and regulations update from Superintendent Kramer, door prizes, and collaboration time.

Don't forget to attend our open house tonight at Cannon Ball Elementary from 4- 6 pm. This is for all grades and all students and families who will be attending school at Solen Public School District. There will be a bus pick up at Solen High School at 3:40 and the red gym in Cannon Ball at 3:55 if you need a ride. There will also be drop offs in those same spots.

All PK-12 students and families, please join us at Cannon Ball Elementary from 4:00-6:00 to share a meal, meet the school staff and teachers, and kick off the new school year as a team. We are so excited to see you tonight!

Please join us in welcoming our new teacher, Ms. Brashel Silk to the Solen Public School District team. She will be teaching first grade this year. You may recognize her as she was raised in Cannon Ball and student taught and was a substitute teacher last year at Cannon Ball Elementary. She is looking forward to teaching in her home town. Please join us in welcoming our new kindergarten teacher Ms. Kloe Sauter. Ms. Sauter is from Linton, ND and recently graduated from Valley City State University. Ms. Sauter is looking forward to teaching in Cannon Ball and having her own classroom. She is looking forward to getting to know everyone this year.
