Hello Solen-Cannon Ball Families,
Today at approximately 10:00 am the school was notified by the BIA police that there was a possible threat to schools in the area, including Solen-Cannon Ball and the police were placing the schools in a lock-down. It was determined that there was not a threat to our school and we were removed from the lock -down status within approximately 45 minutes.
I would like to sincerely thank the Bureau of Indian Affairs law enforcement for their swift and proactive response and making our safety a top priority. Additionally, a special thank you to our staff and our students for their great response to this today.
Thank you,
Superintendent Kramer

Congratulations to our November student of the month winners and students who received the Solen PRIDE award. Please recognize all these students. We are proud of their hard work. Thank you to Prairie Knights Casino for donating pizzas for our students of the month. Our students nominated for Solen PRIDE received college "swag".
