Dear Parents and Guardians of Juniors and Seniors,
Your child will be traveling to Minot State University for a college presentation on Monday, November 3, 2025. During the visit, students will participate in a campus tour, an admissions presentation, and enjoy a meal on campus. Students will depart after breakfast at Solen High School and are expected to return between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., where they will be dropped off by bus.

The Cannon Ball Elementary Girls’ basketball team had a pizza party for lunch and got to play their last game with the Solen JH team. Thank you so much Misty DeCouteau and LaTosha Thunder Hawk for all your help, the girls had so much fun!
Shout out to Wozu for the fun Tiny Tot Walk!! The Cannon Ball Pre-K students had a blast!!
Solen Sioux are so proud that one of our own is competing today in the State Cross Country Meet. Wish good luck to this CRAZY guy and cheer him on to bring home the GOLD!!!
High school send off before XC state. We opened the day with song and prayer. Students and staff lined the halls before leaving for state! Good luck this weekend!

October 29th and November 10th will be early dismissals with elementary students dismissing at 11:30 and seconday students dismissing at 11:45. Students will have lunch before departure on both days.

ANNOUNCEMENT!
Today was super fun for Cannon Ball students to celebrate Thor and Collin’s birthdays. Puppy chow snacks were given to students and a big shout out to Jaya and Jaires for the dog toys and snack bags. It’s so heartwarming to see how much they adore and care about him.
Pre-K had an exciting September with the arrival of our VR!! We have been very busy trying it out and connecting it to our learning!! We can't wait to see what all it has to offer!!
Yesterday the kindergartners went to the pumpkin patch. Despite the cold weather we had a blast.
School Picture Time & Date Update and Early Dismissal for Wednesday, October 15th, 2025.
Pictures are Wednesday, October 15th at both schools. They will be starting first thing in the morning so they can finish by 1 pm.
