Today, Dickinson State University Teacher Education students visited Cannon Ball Elementary to observe and teach lessons, gaining hands-on experience. We’re thrilled to support the next generation of educators!

There will not be Night Lights on Thursday October 31st due to the Trunk or Treat taking place in our school parking lot. There will also be no Night Lights on November 4th due to our Waterford Family night event taking place at the school. We hope to see you all out at these activities.

Mrs. Ferguson's 2nd grade class received their first book from their book sponsors for the year! Each student has been sponsored by friends of Mrs. Ferguson. They will receive a book each month to take home and share with their family!

Reminder - Parent - conferences are tomorrow from 4-7 pm. Conferences for grades 6-12 will be held at Solen High School. Conferences for Grades PK-5 will be held at Cannon Ball Elementary. A meal will be served at both schools. Transportation is available in both communities. Transportation will go as follows with Ernie's bus:
4:15: Pick up in Cannon Ball (residential street stops) drop off in Solen.
4:40 : Pick up in Solen (residential street stops) and drop off in Cannon Ball
6:30: Pick up at Cannon Ball Elementary and return to Solen
6:50: Pick up at Solen High School and return to Cannon Ball

Upon receiving information regarding the water turn off, the week will go as follows:
There will not be school Tuesday or Wednesday October 22 and 23, 2024. The 23rd originally was a virtual day. It will now be a no school day.
Thank you for your flexibility in this. The decision to cancel or move forward with school is made based on the information we have at the time to make a reasonable and timely decision. I would like to thank all of those who have reached out in order to get us the appropriate information regarding water turn off in the community.
Unfortunately, we will have missed four days of school due to the water being off in the community and therefore in the school. We are planning to make up the lost learning time. The days we will use to make up time will be communicated to you all once they are finalized.

These changes are due to water being shut off in the community on these days.
